"Don’t ask a man his salary" - Aakash Chopra's reply to a fan who asked him 1-match commentary salary

The 14th season of the Indian Premier League has well and truly lived up to the fans’ expectations so far. The cash-rich league is being played behind closed doors amid the coronavirus surge in India. The league has just started to raise the temperatures of the spectators who are watching the ongoing spectacle at home.

So far, Royal Challengers Bangalore were the only team to secure two wins in two games. Virat Kohli’s side got the better of Mumbai Indians in their first game and then they defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second game. Rightly so, they are on top of the points table with a Net Run Rate of +0.175.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians are second on the points table with 1 win and 1 defeat with a better Net Run Rate of +0.225. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings are the only two teams who are yet to get off the mark with a win this season. Sunrisers lost their first two games while CSK lost their first game.

Aakash Chopra gives an apt reply to a fan who asked him his salary

Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra is best known for his opinions on the gentleman’s game. He is also known for his interesting analysis on the game and the players. The former Indian opener and current cricket analyst is busy following the Indian Premier League. Earlier, he came under fire for his predictions which were completely the “opposite”.

Chopra belongs to the Hindi commentary panel in the ongoing season of the cash-rich IPL. Recently, one of his followers tried to get his attention by asking about his salary. The user openly posted a question by tagging Chopra and asked his one match commentary salary.

Meanwhile, this particular question caught the eyeballs of the 43-year-old analyst who made up his mind to not disclose his salary but instead he came up with an apt reply to silence the user. The user tweeted: "Sir, how much salary do you get for 1 match commentary? (sic)". In reply, Chopra wrote: "Don’t ask a woman her age and a man his salary.” This perfect reply by the Indian commentator has gone viral on social media.
