Hanuma Vihari shuts down an Instagram user for his ‘Why don’t you pay man’ remark
Hanuma Vihari has proven out as a solid middle-order batsman for the Indian team in Test cricket. He is technically a very sound player and has a good domestic record. He is also handy with ball which helps the team to rest their main guns during certain stages of the game. He also contributed a major part in India's draw against Australia in third Test match of the series.
Vihari's recent form has not been at the best of his career. His experiment to play in County Championship in England didn't work a lot. He struggled to get runs as failed to mark an impact in three Tests he played in. However, he was picked for the upcoming ICC Test Championship Final and five-match Test series against England.
While India are undergoing a massive fight against COVID-19, all celebrities and public figures are trying to help as much as possible. Earlier. Vihar created a group of 100 volunteers to offer needy people plasma, oxygen cylinder and hospital beds. This again he again tried to help someone raise funds to meet medical needs.
“A 22-year girl Anusha’s father and her brother both on the ventilator and are fighting for their life. They have no savings and the hospital bill is up to 1.5 lakh per day. Any help would be so big for her and her family. Link in bio", Vihari posted on Instagram.
Fitting reply by Hanuma Vihari
Meanwhile, an Instagram user commented on Cricketer’s Instagram post, “Why don’t you pay man !!!! You’re a famous athlete”. Vihari shut down the user with a fitting reply: “It’s a shame but India is in this position because there are people like you living in this country. Real shame!!”.
Hanuma Vihari has played 12 Tests scoring 624 runs including 4 centuries at an average of 32.84.
