Jaydev Unadkat responds to Michael Vaughan's troll by Wasim Jaffer

Jaydev Unadkat responds to Michael Vaughan's troll by Wasim Jaffer

Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer earned the title of "Twitter King" for perfecting the art of giving epic replies to critics. Whenever someone tries to take a dig at Team India and its players, Jaffer has always been the first person to come to their defence with perfect replies.

Time and again, Jaffer has chipped in with the right tweets to silence the haters. Nowadays, the former Test opener is trying to be creative on social media as he has been coming up with movie memes to shut the mouths of the haters or naysayers and fans have been loving it so well.

Meanwhile, former England captain Michael Vaughan tried to take a swipe at Indian captain Virat Kohli where he added that Kohli is a world-class batsman just because he is an Indian after all. He further added saying that if New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson was India, he would be the greatest player in the world.

“If Kane Williamson was Indian, he would be the greatest player in the world. But he’s not because you’re not allowed to say that Virat Kohli is not the greatest, because you’d get an absolute pelting on social media.

So, you all say Virat is the best purely to get a few more clicks and likes, few more numbers following here. Kane Williamson, across formats, is equally the best. I think the way he plays, the calm demeanour, his humbleness, the fact that he is silent about what he does,” Vaughan told Spark Sport.

Wasim Jaffer takes a dig at Michael Vaughan

An irrelevant jibe at Indian captain Virat Kohli prompted the meme-king to reply to Vaughan's message. Retweeting the quote by the former England captain, Wasim Jaffer wrote, “Extra ungli Hrithik ke paas hai par karta Michael Vaughan hai” (translation:- Hrithik Roshan has an extra finger, but it is often Vaughan who uses it to poke others).

It is cognizance of the fact that the popular Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan already has 6 fingers in his hand. The former cricketer Jaffer hilariously mixed up this reference with a Hindi proverb, to take a dig at Michael Vaughan. Meanwhile, the tweet also caught the attention of Rajasthan Royals pacer Jaydev Unadkat as he didn't hesitate to react to the tweet. He wrote: "Wasim Bhai!"
