Back in those days, cricket used to be well and truly competitive because both batsmen and bowlers went toe to toe with each other. Batsmen and bowlers had their fair share of moments during the game. This is why there were tense moments and moreover nail-biters throughout the game. 

Batsmen and bowlers found the game very challenging. However, as the years progressed, cricket gradually turned out to be a batsman’s game where batters are easily dominating the bowlers in powerplay overs, thus giving the batsmen an unfair advantage over the bowlers. But still, bowlers aren’t giving up that easy nowadays.

They have often raised their standards to fit the bill across all formats of the game. Now, the most-watched T20 tournament in the world is the cash-rich Indian Premier League. Batsmen have thrived over the years by hitting sixes and fours. The entertainment quotient only got doubled even as fans started to enjoy batsmen taking on bowlers.

There is no hiding the fact that bowlers are getting tonk to all parts of the world by batsmen in the Indian Premier League. However, spinners and seamers are trying their maximum best to keep the batsmen in check. Meanwhile, chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav named the two toughest batsmen to bowl to in the tournament.

Kuldeep Yadav who has been struggling for form and consistency nowadays has found it really tough to bowl against the likes of superman AB de Villiers and hitman Rohit Sharma. According to Kuldeep, RCB stalwart has a wide range of shots where he can hit the ball in every nook and corner of the ground.

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma has plenty of time according to the left-arm spinner. “I find it difficult to bowl against AB de Villiers and Rohit Sharma. De Villiers can smash the ball in any corner of the ground, while Rohit has plenty of time,” added Kuldeep.

KKR player Kuldeep was asked to name two cricketers he feels are the IPL legends. He said: “If we look from the beginning, then MS Dhoni and Chris Gayle are truly the legends of IPL as they have been performing well since the first season.”
