T20 World Cup 2021: India have recorded a massive win against Afghanistan recently. They went on to win the game by a huge margin to remain alive in the tournament.

Mohammad Nabi won the toss and he elected to have a bowl first. However, everything went in Indiaโ€™s favour from the start itself as they had a brilliant start to the t20 World Cup game. Both the Indian openers were crushing the Afghanistan bowlers.

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma put up a partnership of 140 runs for the first wicket. Moreover, this is the only second century (first wicket) partnership for India in t20 World Cup history. Both the openers went on to play some beautiful shots.

Rohit Sharma went on to score 74 runs from just 47 balls while KL Rahul went on to score 69 runs from 48 balls. Moreover, the Indian internationals provided a fine start to the men in blue in the t20 World Cup game. However, both could not go unbeaten in the end.

But Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya took charge from thereon. The former scored 27 while the latter scored 35. As a result of that, India reached 210 runs in the twenty overs. Moreover, this was the highest total by a team in this t20 World Cup.

However, the Afghanistan team had no clue in the middle as they kept on losing crucial wickets regularly. Moreover, the Indian bowlers were on top of their game in the t20 World Cup match. As a result of that, India won the game by 66 runs against Afghanistan.
