Sonu Sood gives a perfect reply to a fan who asks him to send Kane Williamson back to the pavilion
There is no hiding from the fact that New Zealand completely dominated Team India across all departments in the inaugural edition of the ICC World Test Championship Final at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. They mounted pressure on the Indians and got the well-deserved result.
As a result, they went to become the ICC World Test Champions. Meanwhile, Kane Williamson deserves a certificate of excellence for leading his troops from the front in the marquee clash. Despite rain playing spoilsport in more than 2 games, the Kiwis still produced a result out of the remaining days.
This goes to show how good they actually are when it comes to the longest and purest form of the game. Their performances and form were clearly visible when they defeated England in their own backyard. After the first Test at The Lord's ended in a draw, the Kiwis made a sensational rebound in the second Test.
The Black Caps won the second Test by 8 wickets and went on to seal the Test series by 1-0. In fact, Kane Williamson didn't play the second Test due to an elbow injury and despite the regular captain's absence, the Kiwis executed all their plans in place to win the series.
Kane Williamson recovered in time to face the peak clash against India. He is the heart-beat of the New Zealand cricket team. As a captain and a batsman, he did everything to help the team. During the first innings, he was the team's second-highest run-scorer behind Devon Conway's 54.

During New Zealand's first innings, Kane Williamson was leading the attack from the front after Conway's dismissal. It was so tough for the Indian bowlers to dismiss him as the Kiwis' captain was timing the balls so well. Meanwhile, one of the fans sarcastically went on to tag Sonu Sood and asked him to send Kane to the pavilion.
Sonu Sood who came across this tweet came up with an epic reply when Ishant Sharma dismissed Kane for 49. Responding to the tweet, Sonu Sood: “हमारी टीम में ऐसे दिग्गज हैं जो खुद ही भेज देंगे। देखा, गया ना।” Our team has so many giants who can themselves send him (to the pavilion). See he went).”
