Wasim Jaffer gives an epic reaction after Michael Vaughan says he wants to block him on social media
It is really special when two cricket experts go head to head with each other on social media. The entertainment quotient gets doubled especially when two former cricketers of different nations have a go at each other on social media platforms. At times, the verbal exchange may turn from bad to worse.
Recently, former England captain Michael Vaughan and former Indian Test cricketer Wasim Jaffer have been putting up a great show by triggering the fans in the form of tweets and opinions. While Jaffer has often entertained the fans with hilarious tweets, Vaughan has often sparked massive outrage on Twitter with his controversial tweets.
Both of them have been having verbal exchanges on Twitter ever since India made a stunning comeback to win the Border Gavaskar Trophy series. Despite losing the Test opener, the Indians adapted to the conditions and defeated Aussies in their own den.
Ahead of the Test series, Michael Vaughan predicted that Australia would comfortably register a 4-0 clean sweep over India. However, the Indians proved him wrong by beating Australia without Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah.
After India scripted a remarkable 2-1 series win over Australia, Wasim Jaffer was among the first to take a swipe at Vaughan when India proved critics wrong by outsmarting the Aussies. During England's tour of India, the banter between the two escalated further.
Jaffer's epic reaction after Vaughan says he wants to block him
In a recent video interview, Michael was asked about one former or current cricketer that he would like to block on social media. He quickly responded by saying "Wasim Jaffer". Vaughan's answer went viral on social media and caught the attention of Jaffer.
Jaffer decided to give an epic reaction to Vaughan's answer. "Me and my friends after knowing @MichaelVaughan wants to block me," Wasim wrote on Twitter replying to the video. He also shared a picture of India celebrating winning the Test series in England in 2007.
It was India's only memorable Test series triumph in England. Interestingly, Wasim Jaffer was part of the Indian team where he scored fifty in the only match India won. At that time, Michael Vaughan was the captain of the team.
