Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer can be safely crowned as the “meme king” on social media platforms. Every now and then, he comes up with an interesting tweet to keep his fans and followers updated and engaged with his latest activities. Fans are eagerly waiting for the former cricketer’s tweets and the response to hilarious memes was there for everyone to see.

Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India suspended the 14th edition of the cash-rich Indian Premier League for an indefinite time after multiple cases were reported inside the Indian bio bubble. With increasing concerns in the bubble, the BCCI decided to postpone the league for the time being.

If reports doing the rounds are to be believed, the revised IPL 2021 consisting of 31 fixtures will be held in the United Arab Emirates in the September-October window. The venue and rescheduled date is officially yet to be announced. Indians will return to action when they take on New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship final on June 18, Southampton.

Wasim Jaffer posts a video on his Twitter handle

Considering the fact that there is a sudden halt in cricket-related activities in India, the former Indian cricketer shared a video clip suggesting a sudden dip in form of Indian cricket. The video clip went viral in no time and this kept the fans talking and commenting on the video clip.

The veteran took to Twitter and posted a video clip along with a caption that reads: “When cricket resumes in India after monsoon and lockdown 😛 #ClubCricket.” The extremely hilarious video featured a batsman, bowler, wicketkeeper and a slip fielder.

As per the video, the spinner could be seen delivering an upper full toss while the batsman tries to hit the ball and gets an edge but the slip fielder makes a silly mistake by dropping a sitter. Meanwhile, the fans will hope that the Indian cricketers are in good shape to face the upcoming challenges.

On the contrary, New Zealand will get a good opportunity to get used to the conditions in England as they will be playing a two-match Test series against England starting on June 2.
