Chennai Super Kings are on top of the IPL 2021 points table with 4 wins and 1 defeat at a sensational net run rate of +1.612 and secured as many as 8 points. They became the table-toppers after defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 69 runs in Sunday's encounter at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

During the game, one player single-handedly ripped through Royal Challengers Bangalore's line-up and he is none other than Ravindra Jadeja. The all-rounder weaved the magic with the bat, ball and on the field as well. Jadeja unleashed his sword storm by hitting 62 off just 28 balls.

His innings included 4 boundaries and 5 hits over the fence where he maintained a sensational strike rate of 221.43. Batting against RCB's best Harshal Patel in the last over, Ravindra Jadeja was prepared to go all guns blazing to add quick runs for his team. The 32-year-old all-rounder used the last over to better effect as he smashed 5 sixes in the over.

He also scored a boundary in the over and went on to accumulate 37 runs in an over and also equalled Universe Boss Chris Gayle's record of 37 runs in an over. It was because of Jadeja's blistering knock, CSK were able to post a mammoth total of 191/4 in their quota of 20 overs.

MS Dhoni's hilarious words caught on the mic

There is no doubt that spinners usually bowl well when MS Dhoni is keeping the wickets. His important piece of advice has time and again helped spinners dominate the game with ease. MS Dhoni's presence played a vital role in the game as he assisted Ravindra Jadeja to sketch a plan to dismiss RCB's key batsmen at the crease.

Initially, MS Dhoni was caught on stump mic saying: "Maarne de, soch ke maar mat khana (which means: Let him hit, don’t be afraid of getting hit),” MS Dhoni said. Jadeja got rid of Maxwell by crashing his leg stick. MS Dhoni kept on giving instructions to Jadeja in Hindi where the all-rounder also dismissed AB de Villiers.

Following AB de Villiers' dismissal, RCB's top bowler Harshal Patel came out to bat. Meanwhile, MS Dhoni came up with an amusing statement behind the stumps. “Ab Hindi Me Nahi Bol Sakta Hun” (can’t speak in Hindi anymore) since Harshal Patel knows Hindi and Jadeja could not control his laughter. He registered 3/13 in 4 overs. He was named the player of the match.
