Watch: Prasidh Krishna takes perfect revenge on Chris Jordan in IPL 2021
Kolkata Knight Riders bowler Prasidh Krishna brought the best out of himself during the game against Punjab Kings at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The right-arm quick was the pick of the bowlers for the two-time IPL champions as he took 3 important wickets.
Prasidh Krishna got rid of dangerous batsman Deepak Hooda in the 8th over. Later on, he dismissed Shahrukh Khan and Chris Jordan in the 18th and 20th over respectively. However, outsmarting England's Chris Jordan turned out to be quite a hectic task for Prasidh Krishna.
Chris Jordan was quite dangerous and strong at the same time when the team already lost key batsmen. When his team were reeling at 95/7 after the dismissal of Shahrukh Khan, Jordan had no option other than hitting the remaining balls left out in the innings.
Prasidh Krishna gets his revenge as he dismisses Chris Jordan
The right-arm fast bowler was thumped by the Englishman for multiple sixes and it only irked the pacer a bit more who was bowling so well before. However, Prasidh Krishna didn't lose his momentum with the ball as he made a brilliant comeback in the 4th ball of the 20th over.
Chris Jordan who struck 3 sixes and a four for his 30 off 17 balls was en route to taking Punjab Kings to a decent total. However, Prasidh Krishna made a complete mess of his stumps and then vented out his frustration by saying some words at Jordan and successfully got his revenge.
Meanwhile, Punjab Kings posted 123/9 in 20 overs. Mayank Agarwal scored 31 at the top. Prasidh Krishna registered 3/30 in 4 overs whereas Sunil Narine picked up 2 wickets and gave away only 22 runs. Pat Cummins accounted for 2 dismissals in 3 overs. Kolkata Knight Riders did a pretty good job by restricting PBKS to a paltry total. They would have to respond straight away with a win or else they might remain at the bottom of the points table for a long time.
