Kolkata Knight Riders ran through troubled waters after losing 4 games already in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. They managed to win just 1 game in 5 games this season. So, they were pushed to the bottom of the points table.

They took on Punjab Kings in their sixth game where they worked together as a result to produce a positive result. The Knight Riders breathe a sigh of relief after eventually ending their four-match losing streak. A significant victory for the Eoin Morgan-led team at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Prasidh Krishna took 3 wickets to his name while conceding 30 runs in 4 overs whereas Sunil Narine proved to be economical as he conceded 22 runs in 4 overs besides taking 2 wickets. Australia's right-arm fast bowler Pat Cummins bagged 2 wickets.

In reply to PBKS' total, KKR were expected to provide a rock-solid start but PBKS bowlers stunned the Knight Riders by taking quick wickets early on. Moises Henriques dismissed Nitish Rana for a duck and Shubman Gill was dismissed leg before wicket off Mohammed Shami's bowling.

During the last ball of the third over, Ravi Bishnoi stole the spotlight for displaying great athleticism. He put in a full-blooded dive only to take a one-handed catch and dismissed Sunil Narine for a duck. When Arshdeep Singh bowled a length ball, Narine tried to hit a big shot in search of a boundary but was caught by Bishnoi at deep mid region.
