Watch: Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik involve in a friendly fight

Delhi Capitals are riding high on confidence just like Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. They seem to be on the right track this time too and there is no surprise in seeing them qualify for this season's playoffs as well. Delhi Capitals reached the maiden finals in the last season's IPL but lost to Mumbai Indians in the high-voltage clash.

Talking about their gameplay in the ongoing season of the IPL, they have performed very well so far. They kick-started their journey with a win over Chennai Super Kings but lost to Rajasthan Royals in the next game. However, they got back on track with a win over Lokesh Rahul-led Punjab Kings.

Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals switched to the next gear and defeated the defending champions as well. They also defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Super Over. The Capitals almost pulled off a win against Royal Challengers Bangalore but lost the game by just 1 run.

They locked horns with Kolkata Knight Riders in their 7th game and they came out on top much to KKR's annoyance. KKR posted 154/5 in their full quota of 20 overs but DC aced the run-chase with 21 balls to spare. Prithvi Shaw was the star of the run-chase as he scored 82 off just 41 balls including 11 fours and 3 sixes.

Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik engage in a funny fight

When Delhi Capitals were cruising towards victory with a belligerent century-plus partnership between Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan, a hilarious incident featuring Shikhar Dhawan and Kolkata Knight Riders wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik took everyone by surprise as the duo were involved in a funny fight.

The video clip of both stalwarts showing off such funny behaviour has gone viral on social media. Perhaps Dinesh Karthik was annoyed at something that he pointed his hands towards Dhawan and meanwhile, the DC opener quickly fell down, in what turned out to be a hilarious incident.

Prithvi Shaw was adjudged the player of the match for his phenomenal knock. Delhi Capitals are now second in the points table with 5 wins and 2 defeats.
