Watch: Trent Boult tumbles down while trying to save a boundary against Sunrisers Hyderabad

It wasn't an ideal start for the defending champions as they lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore in their opening rubber at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. Rohit Sharma-led team got off the mark with a win over Kolkata Knight Riders in the second game. Mumbai Indians gained confidence from the win and they locked horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad with the same intensity, grit and determination on Saturday.

Sunrisers Hyderabad were searching for a way to come out on top after losing two games in a row. As it happened, Mumbai Indians batted first and posted a modest total of 150/5 in their full quota of 20 overs. Quinton de Kock top-scored with a run-a-ball innings as he scored 40 off 39 balls including 5 boundaries.

MI captain Rohit Sharma scored 32 off 25 balls, scoring 2 fours and as many sixes. The likes of Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan fell prey to Vijay Shankar and Mujeeb Ur Rahman as they departed for cheap scores. Meanwhile, Kieron Pollard struggled to play against the SRH bowlers as he played out too many dot balls but in the end, he had the last laugh.

The powerful man struck 35 off 22 balls including 1 four and 3 sixes. At one time, Mumbai Indians never looked like they would go past the 130-run mark considering the way in which they went about their innings. However, Pollard completely changed the game in the last over by hitting 2 sixes off Bhuvneshwar Kumar's bowling.

Trent Boult loses his balance while trying to save a boundary

Besides the tense and nail-biting moments in the games so far in the ongoing season, the cricket fraternity has also witnessed hilarious moments. During Sunrisers' run-chase, Trent Boult hogged the limelight when lost his balance as if he was running on a treadmill. The video clip went viral on the internet.

During SRH's run-chase of 151, David Warner and Jonny Bairstow added a vital 67-run opening stand. During their partnership, SRH captain David Warner struck the ball through the covers. Meanwhile, the New Zealand pacer Boult who was stationed at the mid-off started going after the ball.

Upon trying to save the ball from going for a boundary, Boult noticed that the ball travelled at a normal pace but just as when he came close to the ball, he suddenly lost his balance and fell on the ground. Talking about the game, SRH failed to chase down the target as they fell short of 13 runs.
