Watch: Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal perform popular plays in the team's first bonding session
Royal Challengers Bangalore can take pride in the fact that they started their IPL campaign on a positive note. They could have easily lost the first two games they played so far. However, they held their nerves and clinched the two nail-biters in the end. RCB captain Virat Kohli led his troops ever so well so far.
Initially, RCB played against the defending champions Mumbai Indians in the tournament opener at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. RCB were on the verge of losing the game as they lost 8 wickets in the run-chase but they pulled off the ropes from the jaws of defeat in the last ball of the game.
Talking about their performance in the second game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, RCB bowlers were well and truly sensational in the game as they defended the target quite successfully. RCB won the low-scoring encounter by 6 runs to make a mark in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League.
Rightly so, they are on top of the IPL 2021 table. They gained 4 points with two straight wins and will be looking forward to bagging a hat-trick of wins this season when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders tomorrow at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The table-toppers have a net run rate of +0.175.
